Nature
Colorless monoclinic crystal. Soluble in water, its aqueous solution is alkaline reaction. Insoluble in ethanol. Weathering in air and oxidizing to sodium sulfate.
Use
1. sodium sulfite for water treatment: used in electroplating wastewater, printing and dyeing wastewater, power plant wastewater and other industrial wastewater, drinking water treatment, and used as boiler water deoxidizer and dechlorination agent.
2.sodium sulfite used in metallurgical mines: used in metallurgical industry, reducing gold; It is used as flotation agent and beneficiation agent of nonferrous metal ore in mining industry.
3. Sodium sulfite is used in printing and dyeing industry: as a deoxidizer and bleach, it is used in the cooking of various cotton fabrics, which can prevent the localization of cotton fibers and affect the fiber strength, and improve the whiteness of the cooking material.
