Polyvinyl chloride is a polymer polymer polymerized from vinyl chloride monomer (VCM), its structural unit (-CH2-CHCl-)n, n is the degree of polymerization, usually 590-1500. In the polymerization process, due to the polymerization process, reaction conditions, reactant composition, additives and other factors, 8 different types of polyvinyl chloride resin can be produced, so the performance of various resins is different. According to the amount of vinyl chloride contained in PVC resin can be divided into: industrial grade, food grade, health grade three. The appearance of polyvinyl chloride resin: white powder or white particles, its average density: 1.40g/cm2
Use
PVC resin has a wide range of applications, and can be used in the production and processing of PVC hard products, soft products, coatings and adhesives.
(1)PVC general soft products. The extruder can be used to squeeze hoses, cables, wires, etc. Using injection molding machine with a variety of molds, can be made of plastic sandals, soles, slippers, toys, auto parts, etc.
(2)PVC film. After PVC is mixed with additives and plasticized, a transparent or colored film of specified thickness is formed by a three-roll or four-roll calendering mechanism, and the film is processed by this method to become a calendered film. Can also be cut, heat processing packaging bags, raincoats, tablecloths, curtains, inflatable toys and so on. The wide transparent film can be used for greenhouses, plastic greenhouses and mulch. Biaxially stretched film, the thermal shrinkage property, can be used for shrink packaging.
(3)PVC coated products. The backed artificial leather is made of PVC paste applied to cloth or paper, and then plasticized at more than 100 degrees Celsius. PVC and additives can also be rolled into a film, and then pressed together with the substrate. The non-substrate artificial leather is directly rolled by the calender into a certain thickness of the soft sheet, and then pressed on the pattern. Artificial leather can be used to make suitcases, bags, book covers, sofas and car cushions, etc., and floor leather is used as a paving material for buildings.
(4)PVC foam products. When mixing soft PVC, add the right amount of foaming agent to make sheets, foam molding into foam plastic, can be used as foam slippers, sandals, insole, and shock-proof buffer packaging materials. It can also be based on extruder into low-foam hard PVC sheet and profile, which can replace wood for trial, and is a new type of building material.
(5)PVC transparent sheet material. PVC added impact modifier and organotin stabilizer, after mixing, plasticizing, calendering to become a transparent sheet. Using thermoforming can be made into thin-walled transparent containers or used for vacuum blister packaging, which is an excellent packaging material and decorative materials - such as mooncake packaging boxes.
(6)PVC hard board and plate. PVC add stabilizer, lubricant and filler, after mixing, extruder can extrude a variety of calibers of hard pipe, shaped pipe, corrugated pipe, used as down water pipe, drinking water pipe, wire sleeve or stair handrail. Hard sheets of various thicknesses can be made by overlapping and hot pressing the rolled sheets. The sheet can be cut into the desired shape, and then the PVC welding rod is used to weld into a variety of chemical corrosion resistant storage tanks, air ducts and containers.
