Nature
Colorless to light yellow transparent liquid. Smoke in the humid air. It is rapidly hydrolyzed in water and soluble in alcohol, ether, ketone, benzene and other organic solvents. Risk of burning in high heat, open flame or contact with oxidants. Reacting with water or steam to give off a poisonous or flammable gas. In case of high heat, the pressure inside the container increases, and there is a risk of cracking and explosion.
Use
The catalyst of esterification reaction is used in the transesterification reaction of acrylic acid and other esters, and the polymerization of epoxy resin, phenolic plastic, silicone resin, polybutadiene, PP, PE and other reactions. It can also be used as raw materials for the pharmaceutical industry and for the preparation of metal and rubber, metal and plastic adhesives. It can also be used as surface modifier, adhesive accelerator, and paraffin and oil additives.
