2. It has a melting point of -35ºC, a boiling point of 83.5ºC, and a density of 1.25 g/mL.
3. Dichloroethane has a pungent odor and is not flammable.
4. It can be miscible with water, but insoluble in organic solvents such as alcohols and ethers.

Purpose:
1. Dichloroethane is an important industrial solvent, widely used in coatings, dyes, cleaning agents, solvent oils and other fields.
2. It can also be used as a refrigerant, fat removal agent, solvent in skin care products, etc.
