Colorless or white monoclinic crystal system. The relative density is 1.67 (17ºC). The melting point is 151ºC, stable at room temperature, and decomposed when heated above 151ºC. Soluble in water, soluble in ethanol, glycerin, insoluble in ether. Strong hygroscopic, gradually decomposed after moisture, release corrosive, irritating smoke. It has strong reducibility. It's corrosive.
